The KSI-1801 SX B is a compact, hospital-grade keyboard designed to support infection control at the clinical desktop. Its smooth silicone surface allows for thorough disinfection.
San-a-Key provides an onscreen, digital representation of the keyboard that guides users through the cleaning process in real time. As the keyboard is wiped, individual keys change color onscreen — visually confirming which areas have been cleaned. Digital keys transition from red to black as each key is wiped, helping ensure no areas are missed. Once all keys are cleaned, a brief dwell period begins — indicated by a status bar — allowing disinfectants time to activate and effectively reduce pathogens. After the cycle is completed, the keyboard is automatically reactivated for use.
