The KSI-2001 SX B is a full-size, disinfectable keyboard designed to support infection control at shared clinical workstations. Its smooth silicone surface enables thorough cleaning, while the LinkSmart button allows users to safely disengage keys for disinfection without interrupting workflow.
San-a-Key provides an onscreen, digital representation of the keyboard that guides users through the cleaning process in real time. As the keyboard is wiped, individual keys change color onscreen — visually confirming which areas have been cleaned. Digital keys transition from red to black as each key is wiped, helping ensure no areas are missed. Once all keys are cleaned, a brief dwell period begins — indicated by a status bar — allowing disinfectants time to activate and effectively reduce pathogens. After the cycle is completed, the keyboard is automatically reactivated for use.
